“I began my journey at MCG Computer as an intern in July last year and transitioned into a full‑time role soon after. Mentored by Michael La and Alex Dinh, I strengthened my customer communication skills and developed practical troubleshooting expertise. I’m grateful to work with Michael to bring successful projects to life, combining IT consulting with marketing initiatives that deliver real value to clients. Along the way, I’ve had the opportunity to lead and initiate major projects, including organizing and delivering a vendor‑client event focused on AI and cybersecurity.”

“I commenced a three-month internship at MCG Computer, where I worked under the mentorship of Michael La and Alex Dinh. During this period, I enhanced my customer communication skills and developed strong, practical troubleshooting abilities. Under Alex Dinh’s guidance, I gained hands-on industry experience with the Datto RMM system, Zoho Helpdesk, and Kaseya security solutions, as well as exposure to a range of software and hardware troubleshooting tasks. Additionally, under the supervision of Michael La, I developed consulting and project management skills by contributing to IT projects that support small businesses and clients worldwide.”

I’ve currently been involved in remote IT support, assisting with support tickets, and supporting managed service tasks across client environments. This has included utilizing Zoho CRM to manage client relationships and interactions, as well as gaining exposure to firewalls, backups, and user access management. What has stood out the most is the welcoming and collaborative environment at MCG Computer. The team has been extremely attentive and supportive in their training process. The structured guidance and ongoing support have helped me build confidence, communication and problem solving skills to ready myself for the professional industry. This experience has given me a clearer understanding of how managed IT services and security practices support businesses, and I’m excited to continue learning and contributing.”
